How to install Flash

You need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player in order to play Oloko. If you do not have it installed, you can download it for free here.

To set it up, just follow the Adobe instructions or ask your parents for help.

Clear your browser’s cache and cookies

If something doesn’t work, clearing your browser’s cache or cookies often helps. The instructions for clearing cache and cookies are specific to each browser.
Find the two most common instructions below. If none of these work for you, you can find the instructions for your browser online or ask your parents for help!

1) In Internet Explorer (IE 8):
Click on "Safety" and delete the browsing history. Check the box for "Temporary internet files" and "Cookies," and click "Delete".

For older versions of Internet Explorer:
Click on "Tools" > Internet Options. Choose "Delete browsing history" and click "OK".
Restart your browser and log on to Oloko.

2) In Mozilla Firefox:
Click on "Tools" > Delete browsing history. Check the box for "Temporary internet files" and "Cookies", and click "Delete/OK".
Restart your browser and log on to Oloko.

Oloko takes forever to load!

If Oloko is unusually slow, check your internet connection first. If you are connected wirelessly via WLAN, consider using a LAN cable instead. This could increase the speed of Oloko.

Still too slow? Oloko runs faster if you close all other applications.

Help, my connection is interrupted

You want to log on to Oloko and all you get is an error message telling you that your connection was lost? Don't worry! That's usually a temporary issue. Just try again!

If the problem persists, we suggest you clear cache and cookies of your browser!

Software Checklist & Requirements

You need the following software to play Oloko:

  • A current browser (Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.6, Opera 10).
